Financial Management

Donors - whether individuals, foundations or a government agency - expect that the charities they support will manage their finances well. In addition, the boards of nonprofits expect timely, accurate financial statements. Arkansas Nonprofit Services can meet these needs by providing affordable bookkeeping and financial services. ANS can set-up your books, manage the monthly bookkeeping functions of your nonprofit and help you meet your funders and the government's deadlines for financial information. Services include:

Initial Set-up
  • Establish chart of accounts
  • Propose system for internal controls
  • Develop operations manual
  • Establish employee recordkeeping forms, i.e. timesheets
A one-time fee covers the initial set-up. 

Basic Services
  • Payroll
  • Keep records of sick, vacation times
  • Enter transactions into books
  • Produce monthly transaction report
  • Produce monthly statements of Financial Position and Revenues and Expenditures
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Pay quarterly payroll taxes
  • Produce annual 990
  • Technical assistance to Executive Director over the phone (1 hour/month)
Monthly fees depend on the size of the organization.
